"Anselm Kiefer. Fallen Angels" has just opened in Florence, an important exhibition by the German artist Anselm Kiefer (1945). His monumental work is confronted with the Renaissance spirit of the Palazzo Strozzi. This palace of Florentine pietraforte stone, inspired by Greco-Roman architecture, will house, until 21 July, a show curated by the historian and art critic Arturo Galansino, composed of paintings, sculptures, installations and photographs.
The work in question is one of Claudel's emblematic pieces. It depicts three figures: a kneeling young woman, "the imploring one", who stretches out her arms in a desperate gesture toward a man of virile build dragged like a wave by an elderly woman with the power to pull him away from her. This composition, like any work of art, lends itself to multiple interpretations, just as plural are the gazes of the one who observes.

The philosophy of George Berkeley can be summed up in a few words: matter does not exist. A radical and provocative claim that he tried to argue in his most important book: “Three Dialogues between Hylas and Philonous”, written when he was 28. Banksy is the pseudonym of the most high-profile graffiti painter in contemporary Street Art.
