Ánima by Eliana Perinat: The Nature of the Landscape

Eliana Perinat presents her latest work, Ánima: an evocative body of work that reveals the hidden life of the forest through a photographic record made with motion-activated cameras. Once the images are selected and retouched, Eliana prints them on skin, bone and wood and intervenes in the material by carving, scratching or painting, with the aim of expressing the mystery of life as it manifests in nature and of invoking our intimate connection with all that lives.

Ánima is presented within the framework of La Naturaleza del Paisaje, a project coordinated by Mónica Martínez-Bordiú whose aim is to spread awareness of the natural and cultural landscape of the Montes de Toledo through art.
